WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Manage leasing activities including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications
- Handle resident relations by responding to inquiries, service requests, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with staff and vendors, ensuring high-quality results and quick turnarounds
- Conduct property inspections to uphold safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and support accurate financial reporting
- Collect rent, post payments, and address delinquencies with professionalism and tact
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations, including Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws
- Lead retention and renewal efforts to maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management (residential or commercial)
- Strong understanding of property operations, leasing, and landlord-tenant laws
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Valid Alaska driver’s license and reliable transportation
