Location:
Portland Metro Area, OR

Pay:
$60,000 – $75,000 annually (DOE)

Schedule:
Full-time | Monday – Friday

Who We Are:
We are partnering with a well-established Plumbing and HVAC contractor in the Portland Metro area known for delivering high-quality commercial and mechanical projects. Their team values collaboration, organization, and employees who take pride in keeping projects running smoothly.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Coordinator to support their Project Managers and help ensure projects stay organized, documented, and moving forward.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and estimating activities

  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Help manage permitting processes and track approvals

  • Support the project close-out process, including assembling operation & maintenance manuals and as-built drawings

  • Create and maintain project documentation, reports, agendas, meeting minutes, and project logs

  • Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and punch lists

  • Update and maintain project schedules as directed by Project Managers

  • Organize and maintain project files and documentation systems

  • Utilize project management software to track communications, documents, and change management

  • Assist accounting with construction administration and billing support

  • Participate in department, project, and team meetings

  • Provide additional administrative support to the project team as needed

What You Need to Have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

The Musts:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new project management technologies

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Experience in the HVAC or Plumbing industry

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and project workflows
