Job Description
OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING:
Position: Production WorkerÂ
Location: Puyallup, WA
Â
WHO THEY ARE:
Leading staircase manufacturer seeking an order picker for their warehouse in Puyallup. Â This is a full-time, permanent position, working M-F 6-2:30 with Overtime as needed. We are looking for driven individuals with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Hard work will not go unnoticed in our warehouse!Â
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Setting up and running woodworking equipment such as the gang-rip saw, double-head planer, radial arm saw, and overhead sander.
Assisting the moulder operator by efficiently and accurately producing blanks for handrails, mouldings, and landing treads that meet company expectations and standards.
Loading, unloading, storing, and organizing raw materials.
Maintaining a neat, organized workspace.Â
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
Has former experience in setting up and running of woodworking equipment.
Cabinet shop or interior trim and/or stair assembly experience would be a plus.
Able to read, understand, and build from work orders.
Has at least a high school diploma or GED.
Able to examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Able to manually lift raw materials of up to 80 lbs. frequently.
Count raw materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist others by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
Clean and lubricate equipment.
