Position:
 Production Technician and Orbital TIG Welder

Location: Portland, OR

Pay: $24+ / hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Who We Are:
Our Client is a leading provider of high end fluid systems products and service provider seeking a skilled Production Technician with TIG welding experience to join a collaborative team. This role supports production, fabrication, assembly, inspection, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and safety.

What You’ll Do:
  • Process and prepare production orders
  • Interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Assemble fluid system components
  • Measure and inspect finished products
  • Package and label completed goods
  • Perform inventory management and Kanban replenishment
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment
  • Conduct equipment calibrations and maintenance
  • Assist with warehouse and cleanroom operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete in-house certifications and inspections

What You Need to Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of hands-on mechanical experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience using gauges, calipers, and measuring tools
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse and cleanroom environments

The Musts:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions and specifications
  • Safe operation of tools and equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Inventory and production environment experience

Preferred:
  • Orbital TIG welding experience
  • Trade or production shop experience
  • Experience interpreting P&IDs
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Experience with fluid systems products
