*PRODUCTION EXPEDITOR*
Location: Tigard, Oregon
Compensation: $22-26 DOE 
Shift: M-F 7am - 3:30pm

What You’ ll Do:
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to production schedule.  Review and distribute production work and shipment schedules coordinating with department managers to determine progress of work and completion schedules.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor
  • Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties
  • Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track.  Provide solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule.
  • Provide analysis on potential expedites including impacts on existing schedules
  • Perform as liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups
Qualification, Requirements, and/or Experience:
  • Required two to three years working in a manufacturing, industrial machining or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work within the MS Office suite environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low volume manufacturing environment
