Who We Are:
My client is a leading organization in product development engineering, dedicated to providing innovative solutions that meet the needs of power utility companies and customers.
What You'll Do:
As a member of the Product Development Engineering team, you'll collaborate with various departments to design and recommend products that align with customer requirements and industry standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess project viability considering technical, planning, legal, and economic factors.
- Review equipment specifications and performance requirements to recommend suitable products.
- Provide technical information on design, manufacturing, and materials.
- Work with production engineering and planning to secure necessary drawings and specifications.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while connecting with new clients.
- Participate in product development, pre-sales technical support, and attend trade shows.
- Analyze and interpret electrical and technical specifications, financial reports, and contracts.
- Address inquiries and complaints from customers, sales reps, and regulatory agencies.
- Present information effectively to management and administrative teams.
- Interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram).
- Document correspondence and manage records.
- Comply with established standards and procedures.
- Continuously update job knowledge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven experience in engineering and customer/supplier relations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and MRP software (Made to Manage).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
