The current opening is a long term and permanent position with one of those great customers. They are a locally owned and operated OEM who specializes in manufacturing automated capital equipment. What You’ ll Do:
Prepare and weld complex plastic parts to drawing specifications. Demonstrate the initiative to help in the training of others. Demonstrate the ability to be a leader. Be able to field customer questions in relation to work also be able to work with customers and aid in the mfg of prototype opportunities.

What You’ ll Do:
Prepare and weld complex plastic parts to drawing specifications. Demonstrate the initiative to help in the training of others. Demonstrate the ability to be a leader. What You Need to Have:
The musts:
- Ability to identify and weld different plastics
- Ability to use equipment provided to Pure bond, Socket fusion, Butt weld.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment for whole shifts at a time.
- Ability to work with in house and on-site with customers.
- Able to glue a variety of plastics (PVC, Acrylic, Polycarbonate)
- Able to bend materials using heat.
- Able to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Able to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Ability to make threads on pipe and round rod.
- Ability to use Manual Mill and Manual lathe.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of Fabrication/Plastic Welding experience
- High School or Trade School diploma
- Ability to lift objects, and stand for extended amounts of time
