Pipe Fitter/ Tig Welder

Job Description
Position: Pipe Fitter / Welder
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay:Â 28-60 depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time; may include travel to Portland, OR and Tri Cities branch

What You’ll Do:
- Weld pipe including carbon and stainless steel
- Fit and thread carbon pipe
- Either be certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
- Utilize SMAW and TIG welding techniques
- Fit up piping in preparation for welding
- Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
- Install piping supports, such as hangers, struts, and all-thread
- Work with hydronic systems

What You Need to Have:
- Stable job history
- Experience in pipe fitting and welding
- Alignment with our core values
The Musts:
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Experience with SMAW and TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Certification or qualification to be certified for 6G welding
Preferred:
- Experience with hydronic systems
- Previous work on a variety of projects such as apartments, hotels, schools, and industrial warehouses
