Opening: Payroll Clerk
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $22.00
COMPANY INFO:
Opti Staffing is excited to partner with a leading construction equipment company in Anchorage. Known for their commitment to excellence and teamwork, they are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join their dynamic team and contribute to their success.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Data Entry: Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring payroll practices align with federal, state, and company policies.
Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
General Administrative Tasks: Support the accounting and HR teams with additional administrative duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in payroll or accounting is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
