Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading medical clinic specializing in cardiovascular care in Anchorage is expanding its team. Renowned for its commitment to excellence in patient care within a high-energy and dynamic environment, they are now inviting a detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist to contribute to their financial operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Your role as a Payment Posting Specialist will involve:
- Accurately posting patient payments to their respective accounts.
- Reconciling payment postings with bank deposits.
- Processing insurance payments and adjustments.
- Collaborating with the billing team to resolve discrepancies in payments.
- Ensuring timely and accurate posting of all received funds.
- Maintaining financial records and preparing posting reports.
- Assisting in month-end closing activities related to payment postings.
- Providing support for audits by supplying payment documentation as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Finance or Accounting is advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in payment posting, billing, or related field in healthcare.
- Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong numerical and data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Competitive salary range between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
