Part Time - AP Specialist
Location: SW PDX
Pay: $30-32/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10am – 2pm | ON-SITE ONLY

What You’ll Do
Own the full-cycle Accounts Payable process in a high-volume setting
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices with speed and accuracy
Work within MRP and accounting systems to manage financial transactions
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies quickly
Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks as needed
Ensure all applicable discounts are taken and tracked appropriately
Support month-end close and maintain accurate financial records
Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis
Maintain organized records and documentation in a fast-paced environment

During this time, the individual will be trained on the company’s MRP system, Accounts Receivable functions, and additional accounting responsibilities to ensure a smooth handoff of duties upon retirement of the current team member.

What You Need to Have
- 3+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with Accounts Receivable is a plus
- 3+ years working within an MRP system such as E2 or SAP
- 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks (online or desktop)
- Familiarity with Positive Pay
- Understanding of tax basics related to AP
- Mid to high-level Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The Musts
- You must have true high-volume AP experience
- You must have hands-on MRP system experience
- You must have strong QuickBooks experience
- You must be comfortable working fully on-site
- You must be able to move quickly, stay organized, and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
