Opti Staffing is partnering with a well-established property management company in Anchorage, specializing in both commercial and residential properties. They are looking for a skilled Painter to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional painter who is experienced in both interior and exterior work and enjoys maintaining high-quality standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties.
- Patch, repair, and refinish drywall as needed.
- Mix and match paint to desired color or finish specifications.
- Ensure proper safety protocols are followed when using ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete painting projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper storage and care of painting equipment.
- Communicate effectively with property management staff regarding project timelines and requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a painter in both commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding and use basic carpentry tools as needed for surface preparation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and follow project schedules.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
