OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Electrical Wire & Cable Industry
Territory: Oregon & Washington
Pay: $28-$40/hr DOE
Hours: Full Time | Monday - Friday
WHO THEY ARE:
Our client is a growing electrical supply company that specializes in providing quality electrical wire, cable, and related products throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are expanding their sales team and looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to develop new business while building long-term relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, and developers throughout Oregon and Washington.
If you're a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys being in the field, hunting for new business, and managing your own territory, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with unlimited potential.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Drive sales growth throughout Oregon and Washington by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship-building efforts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals
- Conduct on-site customer visits, sales calls, product presentations, and business meetings
- Prepare competitive quotes based on customer needs and current market pricing
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and market conditions within the electrical supply industry
- Manage your sales territory independently while providing exceptional customer service and follow-up
- Represent the company professionally while identifying opportunities for continued business growth

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 3+ years of outside sales experience within electrical supply, industrial products, construction materials, or a related industry
- Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships
- Experience with cold calling, prospecting, and developing new accounts, or the motivation and confidence to do so successfully
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
- Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical products is highly preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Oregon and Washington
