Opening: Operations/Bookkeeper
City: SW PDX, ORÂ Â
Pay: $29+/hr. DOE! Â
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (flexible) Â

Manage All Financial Transactions:
- Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank and credit card statements.

Maintain the General Ledger:
- Post journal entries, track income and expenses, and ensure the ledger is accurate and up to date.

Process Payroll:
- Calculate employee wages, deductions, and taxes. Handle payroll submissions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Prepare Financial Statements:
- Compile balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to provide a clear financial overview of the organization.

Handle Tax Preparation and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit sales tax returns, assist with year-end tax preparations, and ensure adherence to tax regulations.

Oversee Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in developing budgets, monitor cash flow, and provide financial insights to aid decision-making.

Liaise with External Parties:
- Work with accountants, auditors, and financial advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper responsibilities include A/P, A/R, payroll and month-end closing processes, as well as other accounting functions as requested by management. The successful candidate will be able to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.

What You Need to Have:Â
2 years or more performing full charge bookkeeping
2 or more years using QuickBooks Desktop.
Excellent Communication
Time Management skills
Outstanding customer service
Comfortable with new software
Ability to take books from hard copies to digital via new software
Proficient in ExcelÂ
Out-going and upbeat!Â
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalÂ
Dependability – you must be punctual and reliableÂ
