Opening: Operations Assistant
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $17.50 to $23.50 per hour depending on experience

A well established Anchorage organization is seeking a highly organized Operations Assistant to support daily administrative and operational functions within a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced setting, enjoys keeping processes organized, and takes pride in supporting a team that manages high priority projects and client communications.
The Operations Assistant plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating information between departments, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. The right candidate will be dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.

The Operations Assistant plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating information between departments, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. The right candidate will be dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide administrative support to the operations team and office leadership
- Maintain organized digital and physical files related to projects, documentation, and client communications
- Assist with tracking incoming requests, assignments, and internal workflow
- Coordinate communication between internal staff, clients, and outside partners
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed
- Monitor timelines and help ensure projects and tasks are progressing as expected
- Answer incoming calls and route information to the appropriate team members
- Assist with data entry, record updates, and maintaining accurate information in company systems
- Support general office operations and help identify ways to improve efficiency
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in an administrative, operations, office support, or coordination role
- Experience working in a professional services, insurance, construction, or technical office environment is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast paced professional office environment
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt as priorities shift
- Professional and customer focused mindset
