Product and Engineering Estimation Specialist
Location: Tualatin
Compensation: $100,000 Â Who We Are:
My client is a global, large scale, custom engineering and manufacturing company with a location in the Portland Metro area for over 30yrs.
What We Are Looking For:
EXAMPLE - in this role, if the client wanted an apple pie, this Engineering Estimation Specialist would find the data to show the customer how many apples, how much sugar & flour, and how long it would take to produce.

- Self-driven ability to create estimates independently
- Analytical skills to break down complex projects and turn ideas into dollars
- Long-term commitment with willingness to be trained over 12 months
EXAMPLE - in this role, if the client wanted an apple pie, this Engineering Estimation Specialist would find the data to show the customer how many apples, how much sugar & flour, and how long it would take to produce.
What You’ll Do:
- Independently develop project material and labor estimates from initial concept to detailed financial breakdown
- Analyze project components, mapping out labor, materials, and potential challenges
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to understand project scope
- Create project estimates ranging from thousands to millions of dollars
- Drive project estimation process with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Background in project management, technical sales, or high-tech industries
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Commitment to long-term professional growth
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities
