Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $29-32 hr. DOE
Schedule: Full-time, M-F 7am-3:30pm - flexible hours may be required to meet quoting deadlines

What You’ll Do:
As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for building part records, determining routing times across machining and fabrication processes, and supporting project management through accurate and timely quotations. You’ll use SolidWorks and Mastercam to simulate machining programs, engage with department managers to assess project complexity, and assist with developing tracking metrics and customer communications. This is a dynamic role requiring both technical skill and strong interpersonal communication.

What You Need to Have:
-
3+ years of programming experience
-
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fanuc M & G codes, and Microsoft Office
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Experience reading blueprints, CAD models, and understanding GD&T
-
Familiarity with MRP/ERP software
The Musts:
-
Ability to estimate complex part runtimes using CAD/CAM tools
-
Experience with 2-axis lathes, 5-axis machining centers, routers, and fabrication
-
Comfortable leading reviews and meetings (design, build, post-mortem), crunching numbers all day
-
Knowledge of plastics machining and fabrication fundamentals
-
2-3 years experience estimating - x-functional position working with PM's and different departments in manufacturing
Preferred:
-
Experience developing or refining BOM structures
-
Background in identifying product design improvements for efficiency

Familiarity with both internal and external rework assessments
