What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, who can manage deadlines, support project engineers, and contribute to high-quality mechanical system designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Mechanical Engineers to produce designs that meet code requirements and client specifications
- Create mechanical system drawings including HVAC, plumbing, and piping layouts
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure design alignment and communicate project scope changes
- Review design deliverables for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with applicable standards
- Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, architectural, structural) and vendors as needed
- Provide occasional field support and site visits
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop and revise drawings as projects evolve
What You Need to Have:
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience preferred
- 2–4 years’ experience in a related engineering or construction industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (certification a plus)
- Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system fundamentals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
