Schedule: Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to manage Accounts Receivable and Invoicing within our intermodal transportation operations.
Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring accurate billing for intermodal shipments, including drayage, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and detention/demurrage fees.

Reviewing load data from the TMS (Transportation Management System) and reconciling discrepancies with operations or customer service.

Monitoring AR aging reports and following up with customers on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection.

Responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment statuses.

Supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations.

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:

Background in the transportation industry

Strong administrative or accounting experience

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:

Experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS)

Familiarity with intermodal billing components (e.g., detention, drayage, fuel surcharges)
