Opening: AP/AR Payroll Specialist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: DOE
COMPANY INFO:
We are partnering with an established organization in the moving and relocation industry. They operate in a fast paced environment and need someone dependable who can take ownership of AP AR and payroll functions from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Accounts Payable:
- Enter and process vendor invoices
- Match PO and receipt information
- Run weekly checks and ACH payments
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve issues
- Prepare and send invoices
- Post payments and reconcile AR accounts
- Assist with collections follow up when needed
- Process weekly or biweekly payroll for field and office teams
- Review timecards for accuracy and compliance
- Manage deductions, reimbursements, and adjustments
- Maintain payroll records and reporting
- Complete daily and monthly reconciliations
- Support month end close
- Assist leadership with reporting and administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Background in AP AR and payroll is required
- Ability to work independently with strong accuracy
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills
- Experience in logistics transportation construction or other service focused industries is a plus
- Strong computer and Excel skills
