Location: Anchorage, AK (JBER)
Pay: $26–$28 per hour, DOE + full benefits

We’re partnering with a trusted in-home care provider that is seeking a Veteran Engagement Specialist. This hybrid role combines compassionate client support with community outreach and relationship building, with a special focus on serving veterans and their families. A large portion of this position is based on military installations, so base access is required. This is an excellent role for someone who is truly passionate about working with and supporting veterans.

Opening: Veteran Engagement Specialist

We’re partnering with a trusted in-home care provider that is seeking a Veteran Engagement Specialist. This hybrid role combines compassionate client support with community outreach and relationship building, with a special focus on serving veterans and their families. A large portion of this position is based on military installations, so base access is required. This is an excellent role for someone who is truly passionate about working with and supporting veterans.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Meet with veterans and their families to assess needs and create individualized care plans
- Provide ongoing client support, quality assurance visits, and issue resolution
- Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, clinics, senior living communities, and veteran organizations
- Represent the company at community events, health fairs, and presentations to increase awareness and referrals
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of care
- Track referral activity, outreach efforts, and market trends to guide growth strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years’ experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services (veteran experience a plus)
- Background in sales, marketing, or community outreach preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to obtain/maintain base access
- Organized, compassionate, and results-driven with the ability to work independently
BENEFITS:
- $26–$28 per hour, DOE
