OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING
Opening: Office Manager and Bookkeeper
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $70,000 to $100,000 annually depending on experience
COMPANY INFO:
A respected Alaska grown consulting firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager and Bookkeeper to support daily business operations and financial administration. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys balancing operational coordination with financial oversight in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
The Office Manager and Bookkeeper will play a key role in keeping internal operations running smoothly while supporting leadership and project teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and efficient office systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Maintain organized systems for office records, documentation, and internal communication
- Manage calendars, scheduling, and coordination for internal meetings and operational needs
- Provide administrative support to leadership and project teams
- Manage bookkeeping functions including financial records, expense tracking, and reconciliations
- Assist with invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
- Support financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting records
- Ensure office equipment, systems, and technology are functioning efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients, partners, and internal staff
- Help identify and implement improvements to office procedures and workflows
- Support company operations to ensure the team can meet project and business goals efficiently
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced office environment
- Professional and client focused approach to communication and service
- Strong problem solving skills and operational awareness
- Experience in office management, operations coordination, or administrative leadership preferred
- Experience with bookkeeping, financial record management, and accounting software strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience working in consulting, construction, engineering, or other professional services environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered
