Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $20 per hour or higher depending on experience

Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well established local company seeking a reliable and detail oriented Office Admin I / Inventory Controller to support daily operations. This role works closely with the sales, purchasing, and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records, process purchase orders, and assist customers with in person transactions.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem solving, and working with both systems and people. Attention to detail and the ability to keep inventory records accurate will be key to success in this role.

Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well established local company seeking a reliable and detail oriented Office Admin I / Inventory Controller to support daily operations. This role works closely with the sales, purchasing, and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records, process purchase orders, and assist customers with in person transactions.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem solving, and working with both systems and people. Attention to detail and the ability to keep inventory records accurate will be key to success in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Maintain and monitor stock inventory while working closely with the operations team
- Receive purchase orders and make necessary adjustments in the system
- Organize and maintain receiving paperwork from sales and operations teams
- Ensure all material costs and quantities are accurate prior to receiving
- Receive purchase orders and generate receiving register and average cost reports
- Create receiving adjustments on stock and non stock items when needed
- Maintain monthly cycle count sheets and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Collect customer pick tickets and invoice tickets and print register reports
- Process returns for defective merchandise and coordinate vendor credits
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and reconcile daily cash sales reports
- Create credit memos for returned customer materials
- Assist sales, purchasing, and accounts payable teams with invoice and system discrepancies
- Occasionally assist with outdoor inventory counts and product checks
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with inventory systems and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Previous inventory, administrative, or warehouse support experience preferred
