Our client is a local company in business for over 40 years! They provide a full range of services including Logistics and Supply Chain, International Shipping, Specialty Freight, Ocean and air freight forwarding!

What You'll Do:

Overall Job Purpose

Support the operations activities of the Ocean Department.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Knowledge of Steamship companies rating and booking policies helpful, functional level of experience with INTTRA and ACE helpful. Ability to assist in populating database for customers/commodities with new data or updates. Ability to assist in the auditing of freight bills and follow through with corrections. Assist in executing all documentation for the Ocean accounts including, but not limited to, data entry into Oasis, AES reports, bills of lading, packing lists, riders, letters of credit, insurance certificates, insurance reports, etc., billing for Ocean customers. Provide customers with data as needed. Support the activities of the Ocean Services Manager as requested. Provide documentation support for customers as requested.

This position is M-F 8am-5pm.

Other Job Duties

Provide back up for Ocean Services Manager and/or other staff as needed. Assist General Manager with administrative projects as requested. Attend quarterly company-wide meetings.

What You Need To Have:

Excellent computer literacy. Clear verbal and written communication. Excellent customer service. Attention to details and follow through. Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry is helpful
