Opening: Site Superintendent - Multifamily Construction
City: Seattle, WA

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining jobsite safety, delivering the project on schedule, ensuring quality workmanship, and staying within budget. As the senior on-site representative of the company, they work closely with the project management team while building strong relationships with clients and the surrounding community. They are committed to continuous improvement by evaluating project processes, incorporating client feedback, and implementing changes that enhance performance while meeting or exceeding expectations. The Superintendent also oversees Assistant Superintendents and trade labor within their assigned area of responsibility.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
We are seeking a candidate with extensive construction management experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, though equivalent experience—particularly with wood-framed projects—is also valued. The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of construction management experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role leading jobsite teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. We are specifically looking for someone with strong multifamily construction experience, including wood-framed multifamily projects. A solid working knowledge of the construction process is essential, including scheduling, contract administration, equipment coordination, manpower planning, and the management of RFIs, RFPs, and change orders that impact contract work. Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore or similar construction management software is expected. LEED AP and OSHA 30 certifications are preferred. Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, owners’ representatives, subcontractors, jobsite teams, and internal personnel.
