OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Opening: Millwright
City: Spanaway, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
We are a softwood veneer plant that was established in 1992 on a scenic 60-acre site located outside of Tacoma, Washington. The plant is renowned for being one of the largest softwood veneer manufacturing companies on the west coast. We possess advanced veneer manufacturing technology that enables us to produce top-quality wood fiber products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Millwright will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery in the manufacturing plant are functioning correctly. This will involve a wide range of tasks, including cutting and welding, steel fabrication, equipment removal/ installation, and machine parts with metal lathe and milling machine. You will be responsible for recording maintenance and repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and working with vendors to order parts and maintain inventory. Provide hydraulic and pneumatic system repair, installation, and maintenance. Manage parts ordering and inventory with vendors. Maintain and repair rolling stock. Perform concrete removal and installation. Specialize in steam system installation and maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair production lines and associated equipment.

Overtime!
Shift: Tuesday-Friday 6am-4:30pm & Saturday 5am to 1:30pm

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
Experience in working with industrial machinery and equipment, as well as experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Experience in welding, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work. Strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot issues with equipment to determine the cause of the problem and identify the best solution.
