Job Description
Well-established local forest products company, in Spanaway, seeking a qualified maintenance mechanic assistant to join their team full-time! We have been a leader in the industry for over 20 years!
The ideal candidate will:
• Help Millwrights and Electricians keep the mill running, this is the #1 priority!
• Lubrication of entire mill: Bearings, Air oilers, fill the hydraulic tank, fill gearboxes, and Lube chains.
• Ordering grease and oil.
• Identify mechanical issues and report to millwrights.
• Clean Hydraulic tanks, and bearings.
• Organize oil shed and storage room.
• Fill out checklists.
• Basic Preventative maintenance on machinery, conveyors, etc.
• Able to lift 50lbs
What You'll Need to Have:
Strong Mechanical ability
Ability to use basic tooling
At least 1 year of Industrial Maintenance, mechanical assembly, or compatible experience.
Welding/Fabrication ideal
Incredible on-the-job training! We build industrial maintenance leaders. Learn from a master electrician and millwright with over 30 years of experience in the trade!
DOE $24.75 an hour offering excellent benefits, and a great work environment.
Production bonuses, holiday bonuses, and other great incentives!
Day shift, Tuesday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. 48 hours a week minimum!
