Position: Mechanical drafter
Location: SE Portland
Shift: Mon- Fri ( No weekends! ) (Onsite / NOT REMOTE)
Pay: $22- 24 / hr. DOE
FAMILY OWNED / & OPERATED, COMPANY WELL KNOWN IN THE PORTLAND, OR. AREA.
We are looking for experienced individuals to join our Drafting/Engineering department. Our company specializes in custom commercial cabinets & mill work for over 37 years. We offer competitive wages, a clean and positive working environment, employee health plan, retirement plan with employer contributions, profit sharing, and 6 paid holidays a year.
Drafting/Engineering: We are looking for individuals with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing commercial woodworking, and 1-3 years of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT, Adobe, and Bluebeam. Good communication skills, and willing to learn new processes is a must.

- Develop shop drawings using AutoCAD based off architectural prints, spec's, and bid summery.
- Incorporate Legend standard building practices to aid in efficient fabrication.
- Modify design concepts in order to meet quality and safety standards, production limitations, and cost efficiency.
- Produce drawings that represent Legend in a professional manner by keeping layouts, materials, schedules, and models well organized, accurate, and visually pleasing.
