Experienced Auto Technician ( knowledgeable with European cars ) Location: SE Portland, OR
Pay: $25 - $35/hr DEO Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Position Overview:
Small family owned business that's been in the automotive business for over 25 years. In the middle of transforming the business from service based to traditional fleet based. We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and running diagnostics. Must also be open to learn and work on propane vehicles. This is a drug free zone and non-smoking staff to apply for this role. Good luck!

What You’ll Do:
- Perform oil changes, tire installations, and brake repairs.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify vehicle issues and recommend solutions.
- Utilize own tools to complete various automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle service needs.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role.
- Own a complete set of tools required for automotive repairs (not necessary).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to run diagnostics and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn alternative propane fuel delivery systems for automotive.
- Ability to remove and replace transmissions and engines.
