M-F 7am-3:30pm
$17-18 hr DOE

    What You’ ll Do:
    Perform masking of components for bead blasting, plating, and other chemical processes.  The Masking Hand also assists in the Deburr department using a variety of hand tools and other pneumatic tools.  In addition, the position assists with managing daily responsibilities of the department including, but not limited to, scheduling and planning work. The activities are performed under minimal supervision in accordance with established procedures and specifications.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities
     
  • Perform masking and plugging of components for blasting operations or for plating operations by outside processors. Identify and report nonconforming materials using electronic systems.
  • Assist in Deburr Department with deburring activities.
  • Perform in-process floor inspection of masking and deburr prior to releasing parts to next operation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and team lead.
  • Ability to work in a highly detailed environment where mental focus and accuracy of work output is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering specifications to obtain product information such as dimensions, plating, and cosmetic requirements.
  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel Programs.
  • Ability to use Internet based applications.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with engineers, production and quality personnel.
