OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Position: Manual Lathe Operator
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $23-27+/hr DOE
Schedule: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Who We Are:
We’re a local manufacturing company with a specialized focus on shaft work. Our operation is unique in that most of our jobs involve turning down shafts to precise diameters—rarely requiring additional processes. We're a small, tight-knit team that values craftsmanship and precision.
What You’ll Do:

Set up and operate a manual lathe
-
Turn shafts to specific diameters with tight tolerances
-
Use standard precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy
-
Work independently to meet production goals
-
Lift, bend, and move up to 50 lbs during 10-hour shifts

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:

Manual Lathe Setup & Operation experience
-
Proficiency with standard machine measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Strong attention to detail

Physical ability to work a full shift and lift 50 lbs

Dependable, self-directed work ethic
Preferred:
-
Experience specifically working with shaft components
-
Familiarity with 4x10 shift environments
