Opening: Commercial Maintenance Technician
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 DOE

If you enjoy a variety of tasks, including light construction, repairs, and maintenance work, and are ready to take on new challenges, this is the job for you!

Our client is a reputable commercial property management company that has been serving business parks across Anchorage, Wasilla, and Palmer for decades. With a focus on delivering high-quality maintenance, snow removal, landscaping, and tenant improvement work, they pride themselves on their solid reputation and commitment to their clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Performing general maintenance, including light construction and tenant improvement work (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, drywall repair, and painting)
  • Conducting emergency repairs (e.g., urgent plumbing issues or leaks)
  • Providing snow removal and landscaping services when needed
  • Shoveling sidewalks and ensuring the property remains well-maintained year-round
  • Working independently to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Assisting with tenant move-ins by preparing units for occupancy
  • Occasionally working overtime as required
Please note: You will be required to travel to different sites in Anchorage, Wasilla, and Palmer, with the majority of the work taking place in Anchorage.

REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a similar field
  • Valid Alaska Driver’s License and your own reliable vehicle
  • Proof of current car insurance
  • Clean background check
  • Good customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must own your own tools for the job
