Location: Tigard, Oregon
Compensation: $29 - $40 D.O.E.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

What You’ll Do:
This role involves interpreting mechanical blueprints to perform preventative maintenance, inspecting lifting devices for safety, repairing and reassembling equipment, and testing machinery for functionality. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and repairing hand tools, tagging faulty equipment, managing company tools, ensuring spare parts availability for timely repairs, and documenting major repairs.

What You Need to Have:Â Â Â
5 - 6 years of defined experience in:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Mechanical Maintenance: Proven experience in equipment maintenance, including dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and testing machinery.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Familiarity with reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical documents.
- Inspection and Safety: Knowledge of inspecting lifting devices (e.g., wire ropes, chains, clamps) to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Tool Maintenance: Experience in maintaining, repairing, and safely handling hand tools and company tools.
- Spare Parts Management: Understanding of inventory management to maintain spare parts for timely repairs.
- Documentation: Experience documenting repairs and maintenance tasks for record-keeping.
- Preventative Maintenance: Skills in performing routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Workplace Safety: Awareness of workplace safety protocols, including tagging or removing faulty equipment to prevent accidents.
A background in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a similar field, along with certifications in safety or specific tools (e.g., forklift or crane operation), would be highly beneficial.
