Job Description
OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Opening: Maintenance Mechanic
City: Seattle, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
We are a dynamic organization focused on becoming the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Maintains a large fleet of container chassis
- Performs welding and fabrication of chassis and containers
- Maintaining grain augers, drags and conveyor belts
- Maintenance of industrial diesel equipment such as yard trucks, forklifts, rail movers and container handlers
- Performs rebuilds, repairs, removal, and installation
- Installation & alignment of critical equipment for reliable operation.
- Documentation and paperwork regarding repairs and follow-up on equipment deficiencies
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

- Competitive salary starting at $30/hr+ DOE
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 2 years experience in chassis/trailer and or HD diesel/welder experience (must);
- Driver's license;
- High school graduation or equivalent;
- Knowledge of mechanical procedures and techniques;
- Provide own tools;
- Skilled in welding and fabrication;
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools;
- Certifications in forklift, welding, diesel, chassis (an asset);
- Ability to lift 75 lbs;
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and diagrams for mechanical maintenance and repairs;
- Ability to read, interpret and follow instructional and maintenance manuals;
- Communication and problem-solving skills;
