Opening: Maintenance Technician
City: Seattle, WA

We have been a leader in steel framing and drywall construction supplies since 1974. Founded with just a van and a garage, we grew one steel stud at a time into the oldest continuously operating steel stud manufacturer in the U.S. Today, we provide high-quality steel framing and drywall materials at competitive prices, backed by top-notch service to support your projects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assemble, install, and test machines while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain and repair equipment by identifying issues, replacing parts, and performing preventive maintenance. Work with hydraulics to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. Operate machinery like forklifts to move components and oversee equipment layout to minimize downtime. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Hourly Pay $28-$32 DOE

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
Candidates should have 5+ years of maintenance experience, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the day. The role involves exposure to heat, cold, and loud conditions, as well as fine manipulation of tools and equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills, integrity, a solid work ethic, and excellent verbal communication are essential. Forklift experience is required, while roll former experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred. A drug test and background check are mandatory.
