Compensation: $38-$49 DOE
Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do Lead, motivate, and train CNC & manual machinists to execute daily schedule while continuously improving quality, productivity, and efficiency to enable on-time delivery.
 Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Manage the employees on the team to meet business expectations, including conducting regular one-on-ones, setting expectations, reviewing performance, and holding associates accountable to company policies and performance standards.
- Work with Quality, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Supervisors to execute Lean process.
- Train CNC Machinists and Programmers in programming, set-up and operation, as required. Cross train staff while maintaining skills matrix.
- Establish and execute SMED, 5S, kanbans, TPM, visual triggers, etc. that enable Lean production flow philosophy.
- Plans, drives and manages the daily production schedule and resources to achieve customer delivery requirements.
- Works with the leadership team to plan and attain daily, weekly, monthly and annual production goals.
- Assists with planning and tracking of related NPI activities ensuring appropriate integration with engineering, purchasing, and sales/marketing.
- Manages, motivates, and develops assigned employees by:Â training personnel in procedures and techniques; planning, assigning, and directing work; maintaining applicable documentation; evaluating and rewarding performance, and addressing complaints, disciplinary issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Leads the manufacturing team to achieve a clean, safe and visual work environment.
- Leads the shop continuous improvement efforts. Works with the shop team to capture, prioritize and implement team member ideas where appropriate.
- Works with the Director of Operations to develop and communicate daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics.
- Establishes team member training requirements and works with the Director of Operations and Human Resources to find training resources.
- Works with the engineering and quality teams to develop and improve work and quality processes.
- Prepares and presents daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.

- 5yrs+ of experience supervising CNC in a lean manufacturing environment.
