Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add a skilled facilities maintenance person to their team! This company does precision machining for aerospace and defense!Â
What You’ ll Do:
This is an entry- to mid-level position focused on preventative maintenance and repair of CNC machines, along with other equipment that supports production. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively with team members to coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance as well as minor troubleshooting activities.
Responsibilities

Work with the supervisor, lead mechanic, or trainer to learn and perform basic maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning, in production areas while meeting performance, ergonomic, and safety standards.

Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver quality service.

Inspect and perform preventive maintenance to achieve and maintain high-quality standards.

Adhere to machine maintenance requirements, follow all safety guidelines, and maintain dependable attendance and performance levels.

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating a focus on long-term, effective problem resolution.

Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS (MaintainX) system and order preventive maintenance supplies as needed.

Work flexible hours and overtime as required.

Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
What You Need to Have:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

Knowledge of CNC controls preferred, but not required.

Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Proficient with computers, including CMMS usage, internet research, and reviewing Microsoft Office documents.

Strong technical background demonstrated through experience such as automotive repair, farm equipment repair, machine maintenance, or other mechanical tasks.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to manage frequent interruptions while meeting multiple deadlines.

Experience performing minor building and facility maintenance repairs (e.g., air compressor maintenance).

Flexibility to learn and apply new skills while performing additional duties as assigned.
