Job Description:
- Coordinate/dispatch cargo movement based on client requirements in the most professional, cost effective, efficient, and timely manner.
- Work directly with clients aiming to provide transportation solutions, coupled with the highest level of customer service in the industry.
- Communicate with transportation vendors
- Preview customer documentation to ensure efficient and hassle-free transportation of goods.
- Prepare shipping documents. Track shipments.
Requirements to be considered for this position:
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office suite
- FREIGHT FORWARDING
- IMPORT & EXPORTÂ experience
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Strong verbal/communication ability.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- warehouse, shipping, distribution or freight experience
- Highschool or GED equivalent
- Willing to be trained and certified for driving forklift
Desired Skills:
- 6+ months of professional office experience
- Demonstrated experience interacting with external and internal customers to gather information and coordinate shipments to satisfy the client’s needs.
- Ability to remain calm and prioritize in high stress situations.
