Opening: Paralegal with Litigation Experience
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

This dynamic firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team, offering a supportive work environment where your expertise is valued and your professional development is a priority.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Litigation Paralegal in our firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting legal research and presenting findings to attorneys to assist in case preparation.
  • Managing case documentation, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible for trials, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under attorney supervision.
  • Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, trials, and meetings.
  • Assisting with trial preparation, including preparing trial notebooks and coordinating the electronic presentation of evidence.
  • Communicating with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other parties involved in cases as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field; a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal terminology.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
