Seeking a Licensed CPA with 5 years of experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, with a background in using Lacerte Tax Software. This is a great opportunity for a CPA looking to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on tax work (more than audit) while enjoying the flexibility of a balanced schedule outside of tax season.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and trust tax returns
- Provide tax planning advice to clients
- Conduct research on tax issues and stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex tax-related matters
- Work with partners to develop strategies for efficient tax planning
Qualifications:
- Licensed CPA in good standing with 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in a CPA firm environment preferred, but not required
