OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Opening: Laborer
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $25-$29 DOE
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're partnering with an established fuel distribution and logistics company that has served the Fairbanks and interior Alaska area since 1981, known for its strong local brand and family-oriented company culture. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity performing general labor tasks not typically handled by other trades, needed to maintain, improve, and construct various facilities and areas.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Perform preventative and ongoing maintenance duties on physical structures, commercial or industrial facilities, and associated areas
- Clean work areas, tools, and equipment
- Assist with the repair, maintenance, or installation of electrical or mechanical equipment
- Assist with materials, tools, and supplies
- Disassemble, assemble, or install equipment or furnishings
- Assist in clearing clogged drains and replacing plumbing fixtures
- Paint areas or equipment to prevent corrosion
- Perform minor repair or replacement of interior walls, ceilings, and trim
- Wash vehicles and equipment
- Other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least one year of varied construction-related experience
