$20/hr.+ Depending on experience
Mon - Fri 7am-3:30pm
Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add an Inventory/Receiving put away person to their team! This company builds pumps for commercial and industrial use!
What You’ ll Do:
Responsible for completing inventory reports and balancing stock record receipts with reports to the ledger and control totals. Monitors discrepancies or problems with deliveries, the balance on hand, and other inventory-tracking mechanisms. Conducting and processing cycle counts, managing inventory transport, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain inventory control, including report preparation.
- Assist in tracking inventory errors and provide appropriate corrections or recommendations.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies while tracking scrap products.
- Record and maintain control of all purchased and produced inventory items.
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
- Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and update inventory records manually or via computer.
- Compile and maintain records of inventory, including quantity, type, and value of stocked items.
- Compare inventory counts to office records or calculate figures from sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to verify current inventory levels.
- Identify depleted stock and recommend the removal of defective or unusable items.
- Document and compile information upon receipt or disbursement of materials and equipment.
- Performs cycle counts using E1 cycle count system
- Count Material or supplies in stock and posts the totals to inventory records, either manually or using scanner/reader.
- Investigate, research and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Analyze cycle count results, identify root causes, provide feedback.
- Use material handling equipment safely.
- Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.

What You Need to Have:
- 3-5 years experience in inventory control OR associates degree in business management
- 1 year of experience working in distribution
- 1 year of experience in material handling
- Oracle E1 & Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with spreadsheets
- Effective communications
- Maintains confidentiality and use discretion with business information
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
