WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Install all non-electrical signage products in both an interior and exterior environment according to drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Preparation and loading/unloading of installation materials including signage, tools, hardware, and equipment.
- Perform routine safety checks and inventory on installation vehicles and equipment.
- Safely drive company installation vehicles to/from jobsites daily.
- Abide by all relevant safety standards.
- Assess and understand jobsite conditions to perform the work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Solve problems as they arise though a logical approach. Anticipate needs and provide clear communication on satisfying those needs. Involve others in finding solutions as required.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, clients, and on-site personnel.
- Take onsite photos as required.
- Maintain and complete all required paperwork.
- Perform site surveys.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Participate in, and satisfactorily complete, any required training.
- $45,000+ per year, DOE
- Monday-Friday schedule

- This is a permanent, full-time position
- Valid WA State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be mechanically inclined and proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.
- Ability to read construction plan sets, installation plans, and drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders and aerial lifts.
- Able to work independently with little supervision and apply good judgment.
- Must have a high attention to detail.
- Must have superior problem-solving skills.
- Must be adaptable and have a positive attitude.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work professionally and effectively with all levels within the company.
- Ability to work professionally and effectively with all on-site personnel.

I am born and raised in the Seattle area, and have never lived anywhere else. My wife, daughter, and I live in Renton, which is a perfect location for us. We live near all our friends and family, and we love taking advantage of all that the Northwest has to offer. Like the rest of my family, I graduated from the University of Washington, and am a huge Huskies fan. Most of my free time is spent spending time with my family, but besides that, I am a big Mariners and Seahawks fan (Bring back our Sonics!), and I coach high school basketball, which is a passion of mine. I love helping kids develop both on and off the court, and find it very rewarding to see former players as they get older and grow into young adults. Since graduating from college, I have had a number of jobs, but none that I really loved – until I started at Opti. The amazing culture that has been established is what I’ve been looking for.
