Job Description Inside Sales Representative
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
About the Role:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with current and potential customers, handling sales orders, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. As a key part of our team, you will work closely with the Sales and Purchasing Managers, providing support and ensuring superior customer service. If you’re a detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer satisfaction, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Take sales calls from current customers and look for opportunities through sales calls and web inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager to prepare quotes and follow up.
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers and suppliers.
• Process quotes, enter sales orders, and provide customers with delivery information.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in purchasing tasks as needed.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely fulfillment and communicate any delays to customers.
• Notify customers about past due orders.
• Authorize customer returns, complete RMA forms, and communicate with VMI/Receiving.
• Work with accounting to create credits for customers.
• Support warehouse operations by providing clear information on all orders.
• Update customer information and contacts in accordance with accounting criteria.
Qualifications:
• Experience with Fasteners, Automotive hardware, technical knowledge 1-2 years
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions, purchase orders, and correspondence.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar programs.
