Opening: Inside Sales Rep
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $25 - DOE
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a well-established industrial supply company in Anchorage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, inside sales support, showroom assistance, and warehouse collaboration. Every day brings something different, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a team.
Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers

Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability

Generate quotes and process customer orders
-
Conduct outbound calls to schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and identify new business opportunities
-
Support the sales team by qualifying leads and communicating customer needs
-
Track customer interactions and campaign results
-
Assist with showroom merchandising, stocking, pricing, and maintaining a clean, organized retail space
-
Support warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, labeling, and general housekeeping as needed
-
Back up inbound customer service during busy periods

Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, including OSHA and DOT regulations
-
Perform additional duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous customer service, inside sales, retail sales, or outbound calling experience preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
Excellent telephone etiquette and professionalism
-
Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
-
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment
-
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn new products, systems, and processes

Ability to assist in both office and warehouse environments as business needs require
