Position: Industrial Sandblaster
Location: NE Portland, OR
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Swing Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- Overtime: As required
- Job Type: Full-time
Who We Are:
We are a fast-paced industrial manufacturing facility in NE Portland seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Sandblaster to join our finishing department. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, precision-finished products to a variety of industries.
What You’ll Do:
- Sand, mask, and clean parts to prepare for sandblasting or painting
- Load and rack parts for finishing with proper identification and tagging
- Operate forklifts and blast recovery equipment safely
- Sandblast steel to SSPC standards
- Follow work orders and production schedules accurately
- Perform equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Work independently to produce quality results on time and to spec

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:
- 1 year or more of sandblasting experience (industrial/manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to operate forklifts and blast equipment
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen
- Previous experience sandblasting to SSPC standards
- Mechanical aptitude or background in industrial finishing
