IT System Administrator



To maintain, optimize, expand, and deploy CRMHS information systems. Lead

specialized projects, coordinate vendor support, monitor vendor performance. Manage

and maintain help-desk and staff. Guide CRMHS network users with training, support,

and reliable equipment.



Essential Job Functions:

• Manage help-desk and help-desk staff.

• Monitor network such as windows servers, workstations, routers, and switches.

• Special projects.

• Website development (e.g. Internet Intranet).

• Program phone and voicemail for staff.

• Report and database development.

• Programming scripting.

• Department coordination.

• Configure workstation software.

• Repair workstation hardware.

• Responsible for ordering new equipment.

• Training on software. Non-essential Job Functions:

• Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.

• Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large.


Work Experience Requirements:

1-2 years of managing similar network. Knowledge of components, software and hardware, multiple windows servers, workstation environment with a TCP/IP network, LAN/WAN, multiple vendors, hardware designated for specific programs/grants.


Education Requirements: Associates of Arts degree specializing in Information Systems

Other Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and familiar with Windows OS Server, TCP/IP, Exchange, veritas, MSOffice, Active Directory, phone systems, Relational Database Design, Reports, Routing and Firewall equipment.
