Warehouse Person
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Job Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary:
Our rapidly growing company, specializing in pipe and valve distribution, is seeking a Warehouse Person to join our busy team. This position requires a highly motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in forklift operation, a working knowledge of all warehouse functions, and be comfortable working any shift.
Responsibilities:
-Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials around the warehouse
-Organize and maintain inventory levels in the warehouse
-Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials
-Problem-solve any issues that arise during the daily operation of the warehouse
-Communicate with other members of the team to ensure a smooth workflow
-Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
-Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
-Previous experience in forklift operation is required
-Ability to problem solve efficiently
-Working knowledge of all warehouse functions
-Tool knowledge is a plus, but not required
-Open to any shift is a plus
-Good driving record
-Contract-to-hire opportunity
-Able to lift 50lbs
Note: Please be aware that this position will require working in Kelso for one week, followed by relocation to Salem, Oregon, as a new facility is opening there.
