WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform a wide range of HVAC services, including installation, repair, maintenance, and system inspections.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
- Receive job assignments from dispatchers and communicate effectively to ensure clear understanding of job requirements and timelines.
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing their HVAC concerns, explaining services, and providing accurate cost estimates.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Provide detailed reports to supervisors and dispatchers.
- Manage inventory and ensure that HVAC tools and materials are properly maintained and stocked.
- Be available for on-call duties to handle emergency HVAC issues outside of regular business hours.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in a dispatch or service-based role.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
- Valid HVAC certification and licensure as required by local or state regulations.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
