A large financial institution with locations down the West Coast of the USA is eagerly looking to add a new team member to their Human Resources and Benefits department here in Anchorage as a Benefits Specialist.

Every day in this position holds a variety of tasks and challenges and will be different than the day before it.

A normal day in this position would include face-to-face communication with employees, research of benefits packages and programs, general data entry, communication via phone, and other general human resources responsibilities. The department is looking to add a team member who not only adds value to their benefits sector, but someone is capable and willing to help out in other areas as well.

General Requirements for this position include: 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing attitude
  • A willingness to learn
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources Experience
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly pick-up on specialized computer programs.
